Roasted Broccoli with Olives and Raisins
A nice combination of savoury and sweet to complement a baked main dish, meat, fish or dairy (as in the knishes pictured above). Easy to make, this easy side dish will cook itself while you set the table.

Ingredients
Broccoli
2 cloves garlic
Kosher salt
Olive Oil
Kalamata Olives
Raisins, any kind
Method
Preheat an oven to 400 degrees.
Mince the garlic and crush it together with the salt using the back of a spoon or a mortar and pestle. Set aside for 10 minutes.
While you're waiting, break or cut the broccoli into sections.
After 10 minutes, pour the olive oil on top of the garlic/salt mixture. Combine well.
Toss the broccoli, olives and raisins onto a baking pan and pour the oil/garlic mixture over, Toss until thoroughly coated.
Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until the broccoli is roasted. Sprinkle with salt before serving.
