Hi there! Nice to meet you!I'm Harriet Zaidman. My cooking blog is named for the North End of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where immigrants from Eastern Europe settled in the first half of the 20th century. "Nosh" is one of those hard-to-translate Yiddish words - it describes "nibbling," "tasting" or "eating enthusiastically." Talented Jewish, Ukrainian, Polish, German and other cooks turned out delicious meals over the decades, often making something from nothing. Scroll down and find a selection of recipes I've tested. Feel free to adapt them to your tastes and needs.
